Ever since we launched Sendbird Calls in 2021, a React Native Software Development Kit (SDK) has been a top customer request. After months of focusing our development on product features for the web and native implementations, we are now excited to provide the first React Native SDK for developers looking to deploy Sendbird Calls on iOS and Android with one JavaScript code base!🍦

How to experience high-quality voice and video with Sendbird Calls ✆
To experience Sendbird Calls, we invite you to:
- Create an account
- Create an app in the dashboard
- Go to the phonebooth section and create a call
- Copy and share the call link or barcode with mobile and web users
- Ask participants to download the iOS or Android mobile apps, or go to the web Sendbird app, and join the call to which they’ve been invited
This is how, without writing a line of code, you and your colleagues will experience the first call on the Sendbird platform. Thanks to Sendbird’s native AWS cloud infrastructure, participants will be able to connect with clear voice and video from anywhere in the world!

Our aim was to enable React Native developers to build the entire Sendbird Calls experience at once. Therefore, right after servicing beta customers with direct calls, we decided to launch both direct and group calls in one release.
